ApplySafer is designed around data minimisation and purpose restriction. The product retains limited account, consent, moderation, employer-claim, and audit data that is necessary to run a safe service. It does not retain CVs or job applications because applications go directly to the employer.
Account and consent data
Retained while the account is active, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation subject to security, legal, and dispute obligations.
Reviews and moderation records
Retained while published or needed for moderation, safety, and legal claim handling. Removal requests are assessed against freedom-of-expression, safety, and legal obligations.
Employer claims and audit records
Retained only as long as required to protect verified company profiles, prevent misuse, and meet relevant operational or legal obligations.
A production launch needs an approved retention schedule with exact periods, controller details, and a data-subject request contact. This page does not claim that there are no GDPR obligations.
